He has run well in 3 maiden/novice hurdles, finishing 3rd over 2m in all of them. He was then tried at Sandown on handicap debut again over 2m when he was sent off 5/4 fav. He disappointed that day, but wasn’t helped by his jumping, and a better round of jumping over 2m4f today may see him in a better light. Therefore, he may out run his odds for a stable in hobbs and Johnson-white who are in-form currently with 5 winners in the last 2 weeks and also have a good course record as well. So with all that I think this lad can run a big race for sure.

V TWELVE had 12st on his back in his last race, and having finished a very good 2nd at Wetherby in a Class 5, he’s now upped to a Class 4. A very consistent sort. He has 10st 6lbs on his back today and William Maggs rides again as he did last time in a conditional jockeys race. However, this time William claims his 5lbs, so he’s effectively now riding with his mount carrying almost 2 stone less in weight. That surely puts him in with a chance here.
