15.45 Fontwell – DOC MCCOY 6/1 generally, 4 places)

Only the four starts over fences, and while each of those haven’t really been inspiring, DOC MCCOY is still lightly raced all the same and the stable is in very good form at present, so I think he could out run his odds.
He’s only rated 97 over fences but was rated 116 over hurdles, so with improvement in his mark a possibility and the yards form, I think he will be in the first 4. Each way claims. Best of luck to all and happy punting.

HAREL DU MARAIS comes here in great form after a good win at Southwell last time out. I think he has found a great opportunity here to go in again and win this one. Sean Bowen rides again. All positives point to another good run.
16.07 Wetherby – HEROIQUE DE MAULDE (2/1 generally)

HEROIQUE DE MAULDE only went down to the very good Paddy Pie at Newcastle last time out on the 3rd of March. Raised only a pound for that effort, he will be hard to beat and should go close. Henry Brooke is in the saddle again.
16.55 Fontwell – COPPER COVE (5/1 generally)
1pt WIN
COPPER COVE might go well here after his last race where he showed signs of a comeback to form with a decent 3rd. That was over 2m 3f so he might appreciate the step back down in trip to 2m 1 1/2f, as he was leading at about that point in that race. Jonjo O’Neill Jr retains the ride.
