Fourth last time out at the course over Christmas, First Street is now over a slightly shorter trip which should suit him. He needs to find three lengths with market principle Asta Le Pasta on the last run, but I think this is a good strong possibility and trainer Nicky Henderson has a decent record at the track. He holds claims and should go close.
Architect’s EACH-WAY TIP
15.20 Kempton – JETOILE (16/1 generally)
0.5 POINTS EACH-WAY
Over at Kempton, I find it interesting to see Dylan Johnston here to ride JETOILE instead of Knockanore in the Midlands Grand National for Ryan Potter, and this classy chaser is fancied to build on his latest second and have a say in the outcome.
He can find himself 9lb lower than when he won last season’s Grade 2 Old Roan Chase at Aintree. The ground will be very much in the favour of this 10-year-old and there were a lot of positives to take from his last effort, which was a return to form.
